You will learn the basic of working is Silver PMC in this class. You will have 7grs of fine silver .999 to design your new treasure
with the help of our teacher Teryl Williams.

Make a charm, pendant, earrings, findings or anything your heart desires!

This is a two session class. The first session you will make your treasure and the second one you will finish it after it is fired.

Cost is $60 includes all materials.

What you will learn:

This is a 4 hour class that  is taught by local Lampwork artist Desa Elliot.

In this class you will learn the basics of glass bead making including but not limited to:

• Safety

• Introduction to glass

• Correct use of bead release and mandrels

• Use of Torch

• Heat control of your torch

• winding the glass on the mandrel

• Making an even bead

The cost of the class is $80 including equipment use and materials.

This is a very beginning level class that teaches just the basics so you can make a lampwork
bead in class. Once you have taken the class and have fallen in love with glass you can
continue with the classes up to advanced level without having to spend a lot of money to find
out that it is not for you.
 

This is a 4 hour class that  is taught by local Lampwork artist Desa Elliot.

In this class you will learn the basics of glass bead making including but not limited to:

• Safety

• Correct use of the maver

• Ventilation

• Learning the basic characteristics of glass and how it reacts

• Heat control of your torch

• Making consistent beads

• Pulling Stringers

• Using Stringers for dots and lines

• Designing and creating your beads

The cost of the class is $80 including equipment use. Glass of your choice may be purchased before class.

This class takes the very beginning class to the next level and builds upon the
knowledge that you obtained in your first class. After this class we encouraged you to purchase a kit
so you can practice at home as well as in class.

This is a 4 hour class that  is taught by local Lampwork artist Desa Elliot.

In this class you will learn the basics of glass bead making including but not limited to:

• Safety

• Correct use of additional equipment

• Setting up your home shop

• Learning the characteristics of glass and how it reacts

• Heat control of your torch

• Making consistent beads

• Bead making techniques

• Encasing

• Designing and creating your beads

The cost of the class is $50.  Kits are available for purchase or you can rent a kit for the class for $20.
Glass of your choice may be purchased before class.

This class takes the Beginning 2 class  to the next level and builds upon the
knowledge that you obtained in your last class.

It is taught by local Lampwork artist Desa Elliot.

In this class you will learn glass bead making including but not limited to:

• Safety and techniques

• Working with frit

• Reduction

• Reactions and techniques

• Intermediate stringer work

• Heat and stringer control

• Silver Glass

• Independent study - developing your personal style

Basic Wire Pendant Wrapping

Learn to make your own pendants using wire and different size beads. 
Skills taught include basic loops, wrapped loops and wire bending. You

In this classic class you will learn to take a cabochon, rock or non-drilled gemstone
and frame it into a pendant using Sterling Silver or Gold Filled Square and 1/2 Round
wire. Once mastered you will create just gorgeous pendants, rings, bracelets and earrings
that will dazzle everyone.
Cost $50 includes materials. Other cabochons are available for purchase. Limit 6.

Fishlips’ First (Beginning Jewelry Construction)

Have you long admired your friends’ handmade jewelry? Are you excited
to make your own creations but don’t know where to start? This class is
for you!  Learn basic jewelry techniques including bead and wire selection,
crimping, stringing and more. Class includes your choice of beads to make
a finished bracelet.  All tools are provided for use during class. Limit 6.
Cost $25.00.

This Iowa State Fair Ribbon Winning Design teach to you to spiral your hearts
away! Once you learn the pattern for the earring and pendant you will be able
to make the matching bracelet for the complete set. This is a definite WOWER!
Class cost includes all supplies. Limit 6 Cost $35.

Go back in time with the Medieval Byzantine bracelet. A classic bracelet
woven from rings. Don’t worry…we will have the rings ready for you…no need
to make them. Just come and have fun! Class Cost includes all supplies. Limit 6.

Cold Connection Class
Instructor is Cheryl

We are doing the ring this time.

This is an example of the pendant we will make in class.
It is called a shelf pendant

You will need to bring 15 to 20 small beads , metal , glass, stone. Any type that you like will do.  
We will bring some eye lets so we can do a few rivets also during the class. 
We will  be using our hole punches, round nose pliers, chasing hammer,
chain nose pliers, texturing stamps, texturing hammers, steel blocks,
 small torch, cutters, sheet metal  cutters,  paper and pen or pencil.   
We will learn to texture and forge our wire and metal.
We will learn two ways to patina our sheet piece.
