types of findings. Toggles, S Clasps, Head Pins,
Eye Pins, Hook & Eye Clasps, Jump Rings and more. Using a torch,
pliers and cutters you will learn to
make findings and save a bunch of $$$$$ by making your own!

How will you learn:
Starting with multiple pieces of fine silver bezel you
will cut, bend
and manipulate it around cabochons you choose making
it into a stunning pendant or bracelet. You will learn to measure,
design, file, clean, solder and polish your creations.
Starting with a piece of sterling silver wire
you will cut, bend,
hammer and manipulate it to create links for a chain bracelet design. You
will learn to design, file, clean, solder and polish your chain.
Starting with a piece of sterling silver sheet
you will cut, form,
and ready it to solder a bezel and ring shank on. After setting the
stone
you
will learn to design, file, clean, solder and polish your ring.

It is called a shelf pendant
You
will need to bring 15 to 20 small beads , metal , glass, stone. Any
type that you like will do.
We will bring some eye lets so we can do a few rivets also during
the class.
We will be using our hole punches, round nose pliers, chasing
hammer,
chain nose pliers, texturing stamps, texturing hammers, steel
blocks,
small torch, cutters, sheet metal cutters, paper and pen
or pencil.
We will learn to texture and forge our wire and metal.
We will learn two ways to patina our sheet piece.

How will you learn:
Starting with a piece of copper or sterling silver sheet
you will measure, cut, bend, hammer and manipulate it.
You will then decide what design you want on the piece
and texture it. Next you will rivet copper or silver to each
other to create a unique ring, bracelet or pendant.
Starting with half
round wire you will form three branches and attach them to a
sterling plate you make. Using semi-precious, glass, bone, pearl and
other beads
you will begin to embellish the bracelet using wire wrapping
techniques.
