Masai Beads-These come from Masai Tribe who live in Southwest Kenya. They are known for their beautiful beads. These are usually worn 1 on a wire in their ear or a couple on a cord around their necks.

Once you get the strand you will understand why just one, two or three beads...they are wonderful and heavy glass beads. Some are marred and have been used. The Orange is a very rare color.

Trade Bead Assortment-This is a beautiful assortment of African Trade Beads. Some old, some newer. Sand Cast, Millefiori, Glass, Chevron and more. I cleaned out the truck and all my broken strands and grabbed handfuls. Some got strung and some did not.

Old Glass Beads-These old glass beads that came out of Africa are hand cut not machine cut. They are 24" long and very unique beads. Once they are cleaned the faceted beads have a ball room brilliancy that is just Glorious.

Clay Burial Beads-These 34"+ strands of hand made clay burial beads were excavated out in Mali, West Africa. They have colors in browns and tans and wonderful different shapes. Look close at the different shapes. The beads are small and made well.

African Christmas Beads-These beautiful and colorful Antique beads date from the early to mid 1800's possibly earlier. These strands are a wonderful mixture of very old glass trade beads. Many of them as you can see are very, very vibrant in color.  The West African women have worn the beads around their waist under their clothes for their husbands. Hence they are called "Love Beads".  I have even place several strands on my Christmas tree. 

Quantity

Dutch Blue Beads-Despite their name they were probably made over 100 years ago in Germany. They are well worn and very unique. They are 27" long and are 18-20mm in diameter.

Recycled Glass Beads-These are striking strands of Recycled Coke Bottle and other glass, Trade Bead Strands. While the beads are new the glass may not be. The patterns are outstanding, unique and quite beautiful!
